Help paying your bill If you're struggling to pay your bill, we've got lots of ways we can help you. Our eligibility checker will tell you which financial support schemes you may be eligible for. You may be eligible for a discount of up to 50% off your water bill if your household income is less than £23,993, or someone receives Pension Credit, and your bill is more than 3% of your household income after paying rent/mortgage. If you’re not eligible for one of our schemes, we can set up a payment plan with payments you can afford. Are your contact details correct? When you're logged in, please check that we have your contact telephone number, so we can keep you updated if there's an incident affecting your water supply. It's also a good idea to update how many people are living in your home. This helps us understand how we can best help in an emergency. Also, if you have a water meter, we can tell if your water bill is high compared to similar households. If you need a helping hand Priority Services helps us give you and your family extra support when you need it. If you have a medical condition, disability, illness, communication needs, and/or children under the age of five, there are lots of ways we can help, such as: - passwords so you know who we are if we visit your home - bills and letters in Braille, large format print, audio CD and more - language translation, if English isn't your first language - nominate someone to look after your account on your behalf - bottled water delivery, if your water supply is interrupted for more than three hours and you have health conditions or young children at home.
